Supporting wildlife is a shared responsibility & our mission is grounded in collaboration

Our Founding Partners

Our charity is generously seed-funded by Forth Valley Vet Clinic, with contributions from business owners Dr. Joh Robertson and Alana Robertson. We share their veterinary facilities, freely lease land for wildlife rehabilitation and are supported by their dedicated team of vets, vet nurses, operational and administration staff.

We now have a dedicated wildlife vet to expand our hospitals capabilities. Again this expansion project has only been made possible through generous seed-funding from our partner, Forth Valley Vet Clinic.

As a founding partner, TasNetworks generously supports our Raptor Recovery Program with funding to help our organisation build new aviary facilities for critical care and rehabilitation.

Our strategic partnership is an important pillar of TasNetworks' Threatened Bird Strategy and aligns with TasNetworks’ commitment to supporting injured Tasmanian wildlife with best practice critical care and rehabilitation.

It enables the Tasmania Wildlife Hospital to establish a unified program for the support of sick or injured raptor species within one centralised facility. This encompasses everything from veterinary treatment and critical care to rehabilitation and research with the ultimate aim of supporting the region's wildlife rehabilitation network and providing best practice care for Tasmania’s raptor species.

Partners and Supporters

Partnership Opportunities

At the Tasmania Wildlife Hospital, we recognise that supporting our native wildlife and heritage is a shared responsibility. Our mission is deeply rooted in collaboration, for only with the collective support of our broader community can we ensure that Tasmania's wildlife continues to flourish and thrive.

Our goal is to foster partnerships with organisations, wildlife enthusiasts, and supporters from all walks of life.

Financial contributions and the provision of specialised services or products, no matter how grand or modest, are instrumental in strengthening our cause. From community groups to individuals, conservation organisations to corporate entities, benevolent trusts, and local businesses. – Your support is the driving force behind our ability to support wildlife conservation in the region.

Animals should not require our permission to live on earth. Animals were given the right to be here long before we arrived.
