We are looking for caring, committed individuals like you, to help our native wildlife on the North West Coast.

Work with an amazing community of dedicated wildlife carers, vets, vet nurses and volunteers and help give injured and orphaned wildlife a second chance.

  • The Wildlife Volunteer Role


    ⇒ Assist with daily cleaning of enclosures and facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment

    ⇒ Prepare and distribute dietary prescribed meals

    ⇒ Help record wellbeing and general care of wildlife patients

    ⇒ Assist with handling animals under instruction by vet staff

    ⇒ Assist with admission/release of wildlife

    ⇒ Transportation of wildlife to/from wildlife rehabilitators

    ⇒ Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the welfare of volunteers and wildlife

    ⇒ Support the team with other tasks, as required

    ⇒ Must have reliable transportation

    ⇒ Passion for wildlife conservation and animal welfare

    ⇒ Comfortable working around unpredictable wildlife

    ⇒ Willingness to learn and follow all clinic protocols

    ⇒ Good communication and interpersonal skills

    ⇒ Ability to work both independently and with a team

    ⇒ Commitment to regular volunteering schedule (minimum of a 4-5 hr shift per week or per fortnight).

    ⇒ Be 18 years old or over and physical fit. (e.g. lift up to 20 kg)

    ⇒ Provide a police check and attend volunteer induction
